GENERALLY I find the best day to have an alcohol-free day is tomorrow.
ALL of the pens in our house are from long-ago conferences or pre-pandemic hotel rooms. None of them work properly, or at all. Now that I’ve left the glittering City I might actually have to buy some pens. Or maybe I can do what others seem to do and steal them from the Annandale Post Office, leaving only a piece of string.
CORRECTION: My text ‘I can’t wait to see you in prison again’ was an auto-correct error. It should have read ‘I can’t wait to see you in person again.’ Now that we’re out of lockdown.
